At the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger, we believe in the power of personal stories to spotlight injustices, shift narratives, inspire action, and drive meaningful change in our communities. We also understand that recounting your experiences can be deeply emotional, overwhelming, and intimidating. That’s why it’s so important to share in spaces where you are safe, supported, and truly heard – because storytelling can be a healing and transformative experience.
Since sharing and listening with compassion and empathy builds stronger connections and fosters a sense of community, the Blueprint is launching the Storyteller’s Corner this February.
This new, dedicated virtual space is specifically for people to share stories of lived and living experiences of hunger, where we’ll amplify and celebrate the power of their personal stories in shaping a better food future for everyone. Those who have not personally been impacted by hunger should refrain from attending to keep our community safe.
Come share, listen, learn, and refine your stories when you’re available.
